Sign up for the brainstorming group on sustainable heat in De Maten!
The municipality is working on a plan for the transition from natural gas to sustainable heat in De Maten. We’ll make sure your concerns, wishes and ideas are heard. A brainstorming group of around 50 residents is contributing many great ideas to the plan. These will help the municipality make a good decision.
Who is the brainstorming group for?
Anyone who is 18 years and older and lives in De Maten can sign up for the brainstorming group. You don’t need any technical knowledge and you don’t need to know a lot about the subject. You know your own home and neighbourhood best – and that’s enough.
Bureau Moventem will moderate the meetings on behalf of the municipality of Apeldoorn. The group will meet six times. The meetings are on Tuesday evenings or Saturday mornings in the De Stolp community centre. Moventem will randomly select 50 participants from all the applicants. When making the selection, Moventem will ensure that the brainstorming group is representative of the district, with young and older people, renters and homeowners and people with a great deal – or very little – knowledge about sustainable heat.
De Maten will – eventually – transition away from natural gas to sustainable heat. But it won’t happen just like that. The municipality will first talk to residents about which sustainable heat solution is best: a heat grid or electric heat pumps. The best solution may be different for each neighbourhood.
